The History of the Sub Branch 1945 to 1992 was completed and sold to members and interested parties. During the 90’s Bowling was the major interest of the Sub-Branch members with bowling activities predominant during meetings, which were held at the Bowling Club of a Monday evening. One of the major concerns during the early 90’s was the Government’s decision to close Hollywood Repatriation General Hospital and hand it over to the State system. Minutes of 1993 reported that a crowd of 60 people attended the ANZAC Day ceremony, this increased to 300 by 1997. During the late 90’s the matter of the erosion of benefits was the main topic of concern, particularly in regard to the TPI pension.
